QuoteMeNow helps service businesses manage customer conversations, quotations, scheduling and payments over messaging channels such as WhatsApp.
Messages, media and contact details that customers send to a connected business number; quotation, booking and payment records the business creates; and business configuration (price lists, working hours, preferences).
Solely to provide the service to the connected business: understanding enquiries (including AI-assisted processing of message text, images and voice-note transcriptions), preparing quotations, scheduling visits, processing payment requests and sending conversation follow-ups. Data is never sold and never used to train third-party models.
Message understanding uses Anthropic's Claude API; optional voice-note transcription uses Groq or OpenAI; WhatsApp messaging is delivered via Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform. Each processes data only as needed to provide the service.
Businesses can sign in with Google and connect Google Calendar. Sign-in reads your basic profile (name, email address, profile picture) solely to create and access your account. The optional Calendar connection is used only to create and update calendar events for the appointments booked through QuoteMeNow, and to reflect changes you make to those events back into your schedule. We do not read, store or modify any other events in your calendar, and Google data is never sold, never used for advertising, and never used to train AI models. You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time in Settings, which stops all calendar access; access can also be revoked at myaccount.google.com/permissions. QuoteMeNow's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We do not share, transfer or disclose Google user data to any third party, and we never sell it. The only exceptions are: our hosting provider, Amazon Web Services, which stores our databases and infrastructure in the af-south-1 (Cape Town) region and processes data solely on our behalf; disclosure where required by law, regulation or valid legal process; and, in the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, a successor entity bound by this policy, in which case users will be notified beforehand. Google user data is not sent to the AI or messaging sub-processors listed above.
All data, including sensitive data such as Google user data, OAuth tokens and payment references, is protected by these mechanisms: encryption in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher on every connection; OAuth tokens and API credentials are stored server-side only and are never exposed to browsers or third parties; off-site backups are encrypted at rest with AES-256; production infrastructure access is limited to authorised personnel using key-based authentication; internal services run with least-privilege, narrowly scoped credentials; and systems are monitored with automated alerting. In the event of a data breach affecting personal data, we will notify affected businesses and relevant authorities without undue delay.
Conversation and business records are retained while the business account is active. Customers may request access to or deletion of their data through the business they messaged, or by contacting the operator of this service.
